Project overview
Ningxia Xiangshan Wind farm Project is located in Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, in the People’s Republic of China. The project is home to 265 wind turbines, with the total installed capacity of 397.5MW.
The project uses renewable wind resources to generate electricity allowing the project to operate without creating any CO2 emissions. The electricity produced by the project is delivered to the Northwest Power Grid to replace the equivalent amount of electricity that would have otherwise been generated by other fossil fuel power plants.
The project provides 200 job opportunities improving the lives of families and reducing the proportion of people living in poverty.
